Abbie is a PhD student in Physics with a passion for ballet performance and education. Her journey in dance has been both diverse and enriching:

• Currently a member of CUBC, where she performed as Cinderella last year

• Extensive experience teaching ballet classes and choreographing repertoire during her undergraduate years

• Directed and produced a ballet show with a live orchestra

• Benefited from vocational ballet training, including weekend classes at the Royal Ballet School and weekday training at a ballet academy

• This comprehensive background has provided her with a strong foundation in ballet technique and performance

Abbie’s academic pursuits in Physics complement her artistic endeavours, providing a unique perspective to her teaching. She’s thrilled to be on the CUBC exec this year as social sec to develop a strong social community in the club and ensure all new members feel welcomed.
