About CUBC

The CU Ballet Club is the only student society at the University of Cambridge dedicated solely to ballet. We are a large and vibrant community, offering a variety of classes to both students and non-students at multiple locations across Cambridge, six days a week. In addition to our regular classes, we organize master workshops and produce several performances each year.

Our club frequently collaborates with prestigious groups such as the Cambridge Graduate Orchestra and the Cambridge University Philharmonic Orchestra. We have performed at high-profile Cambridge events like the King’s Affair, Jesus May Ball, and Sidney Sussex Arts Festival, as well as our annual performance at the West Road Concert Hall. Additionally, the CU Ballet Club maintains an international partnership with the Harvard Ballet Company.

The mission of the CU Ballet Club is to promote the art of ballet both within Cambridge and beyond by challenging its traditional exclusivity. We strive to make ballet more accessible by offering frequent classes, events, and performances at affordable rates.
