home / about / Committee 24/25 / Show Director
Lillian has always been a ballet super fan with endless curiosity about this art form. While studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge, she performed key roles in the Ballet Club’s shows, including Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, the First Broom in Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and Friends and Folly in Coppelia. Lillian passed RAD Advanced 2 with high merit and, after her MSc studies in Chemistry, took a gap year to train at London City Academy’s professional ballet programme under Anita Young MBE. Alongside various auditions and performances, Lillian also choreographed several short works. One of her favourites is HeliX, which was inspired by Rosalind Franklin’s work on DNA structure and Lillian’s self-reflection on being a female scientist. Her journey has inspired her to connect dance and science outreach. This year, Lillian is beyond excited to rejoin the Cambridge Ballet Club family as a show director and looks forward to providing a wonderful show experience for everyone involved.
